Today's Non Sequitur expresses my sentiments exactly about what is fed to us on the news these days. But I don't think CNN or any other cable news channel is completely to blame here. They wouldn't be showing this stuff at the expense of other more important news if people didn't want to see it.
So today was the weekly weigh-in. I'm down to around 166. Don't know how the rest of the people are doing yet. It's a total of four now (me, Salman and two of his co-workers). We asked Gamal to join in but he doesn't think he needs to lose weight. Right.
Still don't have a topic for my human rights paper. I should be getting to reading for that now. Hopefully I'll have something by the time of the weekly human rights group discussion on Wednesday.
