How rich are the rich?

So we had 8.3 million millionaires in the world (2.5 million of them in the US) in 2004, 600,000 more than the year before. Their total net worth? US$ 30.8 trillion (CAD$ 38.4 trillion). Compare this with the GDP (or GWP - Gross World Product) of the entire world of about 6.5 billion people, which stands at $55.5 trillion (source: CIA World Factbook).
