I remember, when the novelty of having the Internet at home had barely worn off, that my mom used to ask me or my sister to write and send emails for her. Things have come a long way since then. We often talk about kids having left the older generation (way) behind when it came to computers, technology and the Internet. Not so true I realized, when over the weekend an aunt mentioned looking for cheap Afghan carpets on eBay, and when today my mom, over an instant message conversation, told me about looking up an address on MapQuest. What's next, their own blogs? Nah, they're too busy for that. Blogs are for lazy smart-asses like me.
