Now (finally) open: your local opera house

The $150 million Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts on Queen and University opened yesterday, what this Star columnist calls 'the cultural equivalent of the Leafs winning the Stanley Cup in overtime.' So while prospects of a Leafs win remain bleak, Torontonians can at least boast a state of the art cultural icon with perfect acoustics that moves their city closer to the rank of leading world art and culture capitals.
