Must-eats in Montreal, part two

To this list of places to get great food in Montreal, I would like to add the following three, from the nine restaurants and cafes we visited in the day and a half we were there this past weekend. Yes, it was largely a culinary visit.

The world-famous Schwartz's Deli on St Laurent Boulevard for fresh and scrumptious kosher smoked meat. Watch out for the lineups.

Eggspectation has some great-tasting breakfast choices and the friendly and prompt service even during busy hours are worth the comparatively higher prices. And there's locations in Toronto too. Let's forego Marché for once.

Finally, Claude Postel in Old Montreal is one of the better places for chocolate and pastries over a café au lait.

Sadly, few things in life are free. There's a big hole in my pocket now, but it was worth it!
